Water Leak in St. Petersburg. A St. Petersburg homeowner contacted I Find and Dry Leaks in regards to a water leak that turned out to be in a wall in the St. Petersburg property. Water was showing up on the floor in this St. Petersburg home. Just because water is showing up on the floor, doesn’t mean that the water leak is coming from underneath the floor. By using out state of the art water leak detection equipment we were able to track this water leak down to a plumbing pipe in the wall of this St. Petersburg home. Water leaks can be very tricky to find, and they aren’t necessarily in the same place where the actual water shows up from the water leak. Water leaks must be found and stopped quickly in order to prevent the effects of black mold or mold growth. As you can see in the pictures below, this pipe was leaking at one point and someone tried to wrap the pipe with plumbers putty in order to stop the leak. Water leaks in the St. Petersburg area must be repaired by a licensed plumber in order to ensure success and for warranty purposes in case something should go wrong in the future.
