This beautiful home in Palm Harbor, Florida experienced a water leak that if not caught by the homeowner would have led to extensive water damage and possible mold growth. The homeowner woke up on Saturday to find water seeping through the wood laminate floors in his Palm Harbor home. There was no indication of where the water was coming from as nobody spilled any water on the floors and no obvious signs of a water leak were present. Using our infrared water leak detection equipment as well as our ultrasonic leak detection equipment we were able to locate the leak on a copper plumbing pipe. The water was leaking out of the plumbing pipe just under the concrete slab. By pinpointing the exact location of the plumbing leak we were able to locate it for a plumbing repair causing the least amount of damage to the property as possible.
