A high water bill in Dunedin Florida prompted investigation by the Dunedin homeowner. The water bill has been consistently increasing over the past 2 months. The Dunedin homeowner assumed since her daughter and granddaughter were in town that the high water bill was justifiable. After receiving this month’s high water bill which has more than doubled from last year, she decided to give us a call to perform a leak detection service for her. After arriving at the Dunedin property, the first thing we did was check the water meter. There is a small water leak indicator on Dunedin water meters which will indicate whether water is moving through the meter at any given time. If all the water is turned off inside of your Dunedin property and the leak indicator on the water meter is moving, you may have a problem with a water leak on your property. If you do not see any leaking water, your next clue could come in the form of a high water bill. As you can see in the pictures below, we located a water leak on the main water service line of this property. A Dunedin plumbing company was called in to make the plumbing repair.
