A Palm Harbor resident contacted I Find and Dry Leaks in regards to an infrared leak inspection. There was a wall in the property that they thought was damp. This particular homeowner didn’t want to cut any holes in the wall to see if there was a moisture problem. With our infrared leak inspection equipment we can tell how much moisture content is in walls, ceilings or floors without having to cut any holes in them or perform any damage. As you can see in the pictures below, this wall is very wet. If walls aren’t dried properly after the effects of leaking plumbing pipes or water damage, severe mold growth can occur. With our ultrasonic leak detection equipment we were able to pinpoint the source of this leak to a small drip on a plumbing pipe inside of the wall.
