Infrared Leak Detection

Infrared Water Leak Inspection

A Tampa Bay homeowner contacted I Find and Dry Leaks in regards to an infrared water leak inspection. The owner of the Tampa Bay home has the home on the market and lives out of town. The realtor came to the house in order to show it to a couple, and found half of the house flooded with water. A plumbing pipe located in an outside block wall began leaking and nobody was at the property to correct it in a short period of time. It is essential to stop plumbing leaks shortly after they start and get them dried properly in order to prevent possible mold growth. With our ultrasonic leak detection equipment we were able to locate this plumbing pipe leak without causing any damage to the property. We currently have state of the art dryout equipment in this home working to dry the structure. As you can see in the pictures below, the water soaked up into the walls in certain areas. In some areas the water soaked up over 2 feet.
