A small water leak in St. Pete Beach caused a great deal of damage to a very nice kitchen. After finding the effects of water damage, the St. Pete Beach homeowners called us to locate the source of the water leak. With our infrared water leak detection equipment we were able to track down the source of the leak to underneath the kitchen cabinets. A very small leak on a plumbing line supplying the dishwasher was located. Our infrared water detector also reveals how far the water has traveled in building materials, letting the homeowner know what needs to be dried out and or replaced. We turned off the plumbing supply line to the dishwasher eliminating the source of further water damage. Water damage must be taken care of very quickly after it’s been identified. If not taken care of quickly, it can lead to mold growth. Mold removal is much more invasive to properties that the water removal process is.
